Immerse yourself in this sunny, uplifting romantic comedy starring Oscar nominee Nia Vardalos (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfuss. Vardalos delivers a charming performance as Georgia, a recently laid-off -- though anything but laid-back -- history professor-turned-travel guide to a motley crew of hilariously crass tourists. Georgia is fed up and ready to give up -- until her new confidant Irv (Dreyfuss) opens her eyes and heart to a simple fact: There's no finer way for a woman to find her kefi (a.k.a. mojo) than to lose herself in the arms of the "Greek god" who's been hiding right under her nose!

Not a bunch of bathroom humor, great scenes and entertaining. OK, the tourists are enlarged but really if you have been on many trips you can find validity in many of the types..albeit not so blantant. What is wrong with a scenic movie witout four letter words and buildings blowing up? A little love? a little nostalgia? a little humor?

On balance the movie is a pleasant evening's entertainment! There is a lot of interesting and beautiful scenery of Greece and the famous ruins there as well as an interesting story about a young woman who has moved to Greece to teach at the university but has wound up as a tour guide.
The tourists, unfortunately, do not share her academic fascination with ancient Greek ruins and history and instead, just want to have some fun. Georgia, the young tour guide, played by Nia Vardalos, finds herself being frustrated by their indifference to all she allows herself to hold dear.
As the story unfolds, her frustration reaches a breaking point when she writes to her employer that this is her last tour after which she is quitting her job.
The second half of the film explorers the impact of two men in her life, one older tourist, played by Richard Dreyfuss, and the young Greek bus driver, played by Alexis Georgoulis. From this point on the movie picks up speed and actually got more interesting and funnier to me.
As one might expect, the movie has a happy ending and all turns out for the better. The journey to that point makes for an entertaining evening with a few suggestive scenes but no real nudity. The movie is rated PG-13.

I rented this movie one night when I didn't feel well and I was thoroughly surprised with how cute it was! It actually made me laugh out loud a few times. The story isn't anything spectacular, and some of the comedic scenes are a little over-the-top, but ultimately, it was really fun and quite enjoyable. The scenery, however, was beautiful - it made me want to hop on a plane and explore ancient Greece!
I love Nia Vardalos, and while she wasn't as great as she was in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I still found her very funny with a fantastic spark about her. I also loved Richard Dreyfuss, but especially Rachel Dratch and Harland Williams! They were fantasticly fun and ridiculous as always!
If you're in the mood for a lighthearted, corny, romantic-comedy - look no further!

I found this movie to be very enjoyable, as well as the comedy..It had a great story, good emotions and acting...Richard Dreyfuss was in usual form..older..but great...I liked the way the group of tourist became sort of a family and the tour guide learned a lot from them..Anyway..I would recommend it highly.
